Healthcare Operations & Administration

Open to opportunities

I have spent over a decade working inside psychiatric hospitals, state mental health systems, and child welfare agencies. These are environments where documentation errors have real consequences and compliance is rigorous. I am now transitioning into administrative and operations roles where this knowledge is a direct asset. I already understand the clinical side well enough to support it without a learning curve, I know exactly what audit-ready records look like, and I have years of experience translating complex regulatory requirements into everyday workflow.

Data & Documentation

Clinical settings don't have much patience for documentation that's close enough. I've spent years maintaining records that hold up to audit review across psychiatric, child welfare, and state mental health systems. That means data entry discipline, case file organization, and knowing what compliance actually looks like in practice rather than on a checklist.

Compliance & Regulation

HIPAA, funding regulations, state and federal statutory requirements: I haven't studied these so much as worked inside them long enough that they're second nature. I've applied different regulatory frameworks across different agencies and learned that the agencies with the fewest compliance problems are the ones where the rules are embedded in daily workflow, not treated as a separate task.

Operations & Coordination

Most of my career has been in environments where things going wrong has real downstream effects. I've coordinated between clinical staff and administrative divisions, managed caseloads under legal deadlines, and kept units stocked and organized as a baseline function of the job. I'm comfortable with competing demands and I don't need a lot of hand-holding to figure out what needs to happen next.

Communication & Training

I've worked with nurses, social workers, legal teams, patients, and families, sometimes all in the same day. I've run structured group programming, conducted intake interviews, and trained peers on Trauma-Informed Care approaches. The common thread is being able to read the room and adjust without losing the thread of what needs to get done.
